چکیده
Castleman’s disease (CD) is a rare disease primarily involving lymph nodes and lymphatic system. Other synonyms used for the C follicular lymph node hyperplasia disorder which means there is an abnormal overgrowth of cells of the lymphatic syste in many ways to lymphomas (cancers of lymph nodes). Even though CD is not officially a true cancer, one form of this disease (known as lymphoma. In fact we can call it as premalignant eventually develop lymphomas. Multi recent years, it’s become clear that another virus, known as sarcoma herpes virus (KSHV), is often found in the lymph node cells of people with multi CD. In fact, HHV-8 is found in the lymph nodes of nearly all CD patients who are HIV positive. We present a case of unicentric plasma cell type of C (CNS) or brain parenchyma in a young male patient which is a rare occurrence.

The patient was treated with complete surgical excision of lesion and was disease free at the time of reporting this article. This case has been reported...
متن کاملAsymptomatic Isolated Retroperitoneal Castleman’s Disease: A Case Report
Castleman’s disease, giant lymph node hyperplasia, is a kind of benign lymphoproliferative disease with gentle behavior. Its etiology and prevalence are unclear. This rare disease is usually found in mediastinal area asymptomatically and incidentally. It is also rare to see this tumor in the retroperitoneum. In this study, we have introduced a 34-year-old woman who referred just with occasional...

Castleman’s disease (CD) is an uncommon benign lymphoproliferative disorder characterized by enlargement of hyperplastic lymph nodes with abnormal interfollicular vascular growth [1]. It is clinically categorized as unicentric disease or multicentric disease. Histopathologic variants of CD include hyaline-vascular type, plasma-cell (PC) type, and mixed form [2]. CD presents with features rangin...

Castleman’s disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder of unknown cause. In even rarer circumstances, it can be associated with POEMS (peripheral neuropathy, organomegaly, endocrinopathy, monoclonal gammopathy and sk in changes) syndrome. We report a case of multicentric plasma cell CD with POEMS syndrome, who presented with inguinal masses and lower extremity weakness for years. Compu...

erative disorder of unknown etiology and has threepathologic variants: hyaline-vascular (HV), plasma cell (PC), and mixed type [1]. Two clinically relevant subtypes exist, the unicentric and multicentric variants. Unicentric pancreatic Castleman’s disease is very rare with only 13 reported cases [2–14]. We report on the endosonographic features of pancreatic Castleman’s disease and its preopera...
